Let's play languages

Let’s Play Languages is a partner of Mind Your Language International. Our mission is to provide teaching resources that enhance any language teacher’s lessons.

THE POWER OF GAMES IN LANGUAGE LEARNING

One of the main challenges of any language teacher is to keep students engaged. Language learning must never be boring, and so it is indispensable to have a games toolbox that ensures the energy levels of learners never go down. Games also make great rewards for students who do well in class, or as a ‘treat’ if the class focuses on their core work during the body of the lesson. Games are particularly useful for kinesthetic learners (those who need engage physically with learning)

It was fun, refreshing and an opportunity to learn in a creative way. It was a game of cards with the topic :’Les membres de la famille’.
Students love games and would be enthusiastic about it. Let’s try it out in classrooms as we resume for the session.
